Azerbaijani Cultural Day at the Rose Castle
In collaboration with The Rose Castle and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the second Azerbaijani Cultural Event was held on June 21st, 2023, bringing together guests and dignitaries for an evening of music, culture, and unity—set against the breathtaking panorama of the Oslo Fjord.
The festival was officially opened with warm remarks by representatives from both the Embassy of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of Israel, highlighting a shared commitment to cultural diplomacy and peaceful cooperation.
Guests were then treated to a spectacular live performance by celebrated Azerbaijani pop artist Narmin Karimbayova, who lit up the evening with an expressive and multilingual repertoire of songs in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Kazakh, and English. Despite the challenging weather, the audience remained fully engaged—reflecting the power of music to unite and uplift.
Adding to the atmosphere of Azerbaijani hospitality, guests enjoyed fine wine served by Meysari, an organic Azerbaijani wine brand presented by NorAs Wine, further enhancing the celebration with a taste of the country’s rich viticultural tradition.
The event once again underscored CAN’s mission to build cultural bridges, deepen understanding, and create spaces where heritage and contemporary expression come together in harmony.

Music video in Norway
During her visit to Norway, the famous pop star of Azerbaijan Narmin Karimbayova recorded her latest music video “Dünyalara Bəsdir” to the breathtaking landscape of Norway.

In collaboration with the Rosecastle and The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the second Azerbaijani Cultural Event will take place at Roseslottet on June 21st.
The famous Azerbaijani pop artist Narmin Karimbayova will be taking the stage and performing songs in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Kazakh and English to the most breathtaking view of the Oslo Fjord from the Rose Castle.
