Message from the

Chairwoman of CAN

Our organization board is based on of talented professionals with a wide range of skills and experience. We love what we do, and we do it with big passion! We are building cultural bridges between Norway, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Shervin Najafpour is a Norwegian born South Azerbaijani Turkish fashion designer, cultural bridge builder and marketer.
She is a former Representative in City of Oslo, Council for immigrant organizations (2016-2020) and currently a local politican at The Conservative Party (Høyre) since 2017.

KARABAKH IS AZERBAIJAN

On November 1st 2020, we held a peaceful rally in Oslo, Norway to raise awareness to the warcrimes of Armenia against Karabakh, Azerbaijan.

Neha Ikram former UN youth delegate, is a cultural bridge builder and human rights activist who is the Chairwoman of Reaching Out. Neha has a powerful voice which she uses in raising awareness with and she is also a proud member of CAN .

Atabey Najafpour one of the oldest Azerbaijani Norwegian Diaspora members since 1989.

In 1995 – 2003 he was one of the founders of “Azərbaycan Komitəsi Norveç” diaspora organization in Norway. In 2003 – 2017  he was one of the main founders of “Xazar Yanar” diaspora organization & The Voice of Azerbaijan Radio station in Oslo.

In 2004 – 2007 he was elected as regional representative for Norway and board member in The World Azerbaijani Congress.  From 2007 – 2009 he was reelected as board member for The World Azerbaijani Congress.
